The connector works on the master/slave principle where Shopify is the master.

Every time you add products to your collections on Shopify, they are automatically synced with your app. 

 

If you add a new collection in your Shopify, you will have to manually create this collection in your App backoffice, respecting the same spelling as on Shopify. Once the collection is created in your App, its associated products in Shopify will be synchronized automatically.

 

Each time an order is placed on your app, the following events occur:

​

- the stock of the ordered products is deducted and synchronized between your App and Shopify

​

- the order is created in Shopify's back office, so that it can be integrated into your existing Shopify workflow

​

- if the customer's email exists in Shopify, the order is attached to this customer in Shopify.

​

- If the customer's email does not exist in Shopify, a new customer is created in Shopify and the order is attached to it.

 

When an order is placed on Shopify, the stock of the purchased products is deducted and updated on the app.
